TWO HOURS, UNHURRIED

The Evening Ritual

Every visit follows the same four movements. Nothing is rushed and nothing is optional except the reading itself.

I

0 — 10 MIN

Arrive

The curtain closes behind you. Your phone goes into the brass valet and stays there. A warm wrap, slippers, and a house-blended herbal cup while the noise of the day drains out of your shoulders.

II

10 — 50 MIN

Unwind

Forty minutes of head, neck and shoulder work — or full-body, if you chose the Retreat. Low brass light, no conversation required. Nothing to answer, nothing to decide.

III

50 — 110 MIN

Read

The alcove is yours. Take a volume from the shelf, or open the book you brought. E-readers are welcome; screens that ring are not. Tea is refilled without a word.

IV

110 — 120 MIN

Return

A slow re-entry: warm cider, a bookmark to keep, and the page you stopped on noted for next time. Your phone is handed back at the door, not before.

“Two hours away is not a small thing. It is the whole thing.”
